Blake Tubby is a second-generation leader at Arbordale Landscaping, a family-owned landscape design and construction firm. His passion for landscaping began early, accompanying his father, Bob Tubby, to job sites during his childhood. After completing the Landscape Technician program at Humber College, Blake officially joined Arbordale in 2001, progressing from crew member to lead hand, project foreman, and eventually to his current roles as designer, estimator, and project manager.
Committed to professional development, Blake has taught Landscape Estimating at Humber College and has been involved with Landscape Ontario, holding the title of ‘Member at Large’ since 2016. He also serves on the Program Advisory Committees at both Humber and Seneca Colleges, contributing his industry expertise to help shape curriculum and ensure programs remain aligned with market needs.
Outside of work, Blake enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sports such as golf, hockey, and baseball.
Doug joined the Arbordale crew back in 1988 and brings a creative edge to the team with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Guelph and a background in Art and Design from London, England.
He’s passionate about residential design and loves the hands-on nature of the design-build process, working closely with clients to bring their dream spaces to life. Doug has shared his expertise as a teacher at Seneca College and involvement in their Environmental Landscape Management program.
When he’s not sketching up beautiful outdoor spaces, you’ll find him soaking up inspiration in nature, canoeing, skiing, or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
Adam Young has been a cornerstone of Arbordale Landscaping since 2003, bringing over two decades of hands-on experience to his role as Operations Manager. A graduate of Humber College’s Landscape Technician program, Adam blends technical expertise with a passion for excellence, ensuring every project meets Arbordale’s highest standards.
His leadership has earned consistent client praise for his team’s professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail — even under challenging conditions. One client noted that, under his supervision, the crew was “extremely hard-working and respectful,” completing a complex project “in an organized and timely fashion despite the difficult working conditions.”
When he’s not managing projects, Adam can often be found coaching youth sports, enjoying the outdoors, and spending quality time with his family.
With a strong background in administrative support and a keen eye for detail, Trisha plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Her responsibilities encompass managing client communications, handling billing and invoicing, and supporting the team in delivering exceptional service.
Outside of work, Trisha enjoys paddle boarding with her husband and spending time with her dog, Kaia.
